Engineered specifically for ZF off-highway transmissions in the WG200 and ERGOPOWER series, the G BRAKE (SKU: G BRAKE) is a hydraulic multi-disc brake assembly designed to manage extreme torque loads in demanding construction environments. Unlike conventional service brakes, this unit integrates directly with the transmission output shaft to provide controlled deceleration and parking hold functions without taxing the primary driveline components.

Application & Compatibility

This brake is a direct-fit replacement for articulated dump trucks, wheel loaders (e.g., Liebherr L556, Volvo L120), and motor graders operating with ZF 4WG-200 or ERGOPOWER 6WG transmissions. It ensures reliable stopping power even under continuous heavy-load cycles, reducing wear on downstream axles.

Maintenance Schedule

Inspect brake disc thickness every 500 operating hours or after 3 months, whichever comes first. Replace the brake assembly when disc wear exceeds 1.5 mm from original spec. Hydraulic oil change intervals should align with transmission service (every 1,000 hours) to prevent contamination-induced drag.
